I'd like a review of the iceland mince pies, imho (in my humble opinion) they're quite nice, although the pastries a bit dry... But at £2 for 18 i'm not complaining :p

Edit: Just had another one... make that VERY dry pastry. Still not complaining though

Why is there no info on modding a mince pie into a gastronomic orgy?

Thought there'd be more mince pies than 4!

Mince pies on their own are a bit boring. But put 2 in a bowl, microwave for 30-45secs, and splash double cream and a bit of brandy butter on it = heaven.

*Which* is the best mince pie, not *what*- stop offending me with your terrible grammar.

As it is, cheap ones are the best- you can buy more for the same amount of money :D

If you are in Australia either Villis or Balfours are the best around. Mrs Macs wouldn't be my pick.

I've been enjoying Sainsburys' offering recently. £2 for two boxes? Bargain! I might have to go and check in on Marks and Sparks again though - they do offers from time to time.

Another crappy review from B-T. Ever REAL PieEater knows that pies come with FRUIT in them, what the frack is MINCE?! If you have to google what is in your PIE it is a PhailPie. Putting meat into a Pie is just WRONG!!
Yet another case where PvP (Pie vs Pie) between the UK and the US would end up in Yankee domination of the contest. Our cherry and apple pies would pwn your disgusting meat pies!

    /end obvious troll mode, hehe.

I wish you and B_T the very best for the Winter (Solstice) Holidays. Thanks for publishing everyday about my favorite hobby, PC Gaming and Hardware. Even if some of your reviews are wrong, we all still love you ;)

I hope your holidays are filled with gamer girls who want to sleep over and play with your joystick. Maybe you could feed them some disgusting mince pie, lol.

    Yours in Cherry Pie Plasma,
    Star*Dagger

As it's been said, BT Fruit Mince pies/tarts review, it's xmas time baby!
Maybe we should organise some foreign pies next year, we have a few nice ones here, but ours are more tarts than pies (lattice top).. I might even be able to organise a kiwi section to the article XD

It is getting harder to think of a reason to keep buying a hard copy of Custom PC, as the content overlap continues to increase.

Bit-tech has done a mince pie test before the CPC merger.

And why on earth would you buy the All Butter Mince pies from Waitrose. Waitrose Essential mince pies are better, and cheaper

Anyone tried Asda mince pies? I've been eating Lidl's/home-made for years, but this year I've got no time to make some and I'm nowhere near a Lidl, but across the road from Asda at work.

Considering all UK supermarket mince pies are manufactured at the same factory, what's the point of this test?

They might be made in the same place but the recipes are different. Why would you test a range of different nVidia 5xx GPU's if they're all fabbed in the same factory?
Double, what else is there? :p

Waitrose Essential Double cream, or Waitrose Essential Crème fraiche goes well on Mince Pies i feel.
BTW, i work at Waitrose, so i'm obviously going to buy our stuff over the competition.
