Right, managed to snag myself an e6850, and I was just wondering what kind of PPD I might get on it without OCing. Any ideas? Also, seeing as I can basically sell it on and get a Q6600 for little or no cash outlay, which would be better to feed the folding monster?
Seems these CPUs against each other was a popular topic back in their day, but can't seem to find a solid PPD benchmark for either, just gaming FPSs.

I can't find any reference to the E6850 in the database, but a Q6600 should get you around the 4k-5k points mark.

That's quite a lot... I can't imagine a dual core Core CPU could manage that without some hefty overclock, and I can't really do that at the mo. Might knock this on then, ta.

My Q6600 @3.2Ghz has HFM reporting between 6-7k on using the smp client. Just started folding.
