    Ordered a 1.8" Crucial RealSSD with a SATA interface for my HP2710p laptop, only to discover that my laptop uses a ZIF connector. ****. Now I need to return a 120£ SSD and I don't want to buy a new since ZIF connectors are EOL.

    Errrrrm usually one can remove the zif adaptor and find the real connector underneath it.

    I've seen zif connectors on both sata and pata.

    Unless you mean the connector with the flat cord and not the one which is teeth which go right angles to the drive itself?

    Right now it's my 9500GT. I've been looking at an upgrade but the money ends up on something else... like my MotU 2408 Mk3!

    I will get an upgrade sooon... :wallbash:

    After the last few posts, it's not that bad,

    The warning light came on my car this morning, it's either, Injectors, Fuel Pump or Emission Control.. All of which sound really expensive. Hopefully my car just needs thawing out. (Not likely to happen soon)

    Plus.net internet has ground to a halt.

    Being guilt tripped into going downtown for a friends b-day... I don't like his friends he invited, I don't want to spend money, I don't want to be out all night, and I have no idea how I'm going to get home from his place in the morning. Stupid guilt tripping people.

    Car died today. Great timing since I was supposed to travel home tomorrow after 2 finals that were delayed a week. That coupled with no girlfriend for a couple weeks. Eh, things could be a lot worse though.

    Can't get my damn front-USBs to work. It doesn't really ruin my life, but damn it still sucks not understanding how such a simple thing just DOES NOT WORK. Damnit. Also feeling cold/sick all the time.
