+1 I got a link to the t's & c's at this point and the answer is no, except for a few specific games.

Search 'extra copies support' on Steam.

 

That's it! I won't be buying anything off STEAM any longer ...as soon as the current sale ends and until the next one starts!

 

I couldn't remember my Steam log-in today using my new phone. Got home and panic-dropped BFBC2, Braid, Super Meat Boy and Company of Heroes into my basket at yesterday's prices, only for the clock to tick over 6pm and Steam try and charge me the new prices. So I now have to refuse to buy any that have gone up in price.

I was also going to have added F1 2010 but was hoping someone on here would provide feedback on the multiplayer element of the game...

Bought the orange box while it was on sale just before the 6pm deadline and I'm sure when I checked it yesterday it said that garry's mod was included but low and behold its missing fro the library.

I'm adament it was part of the collection on the description page.

 

No, no Garry's Mod in the Orange Box or Valve Complete Pack.
It isn't an official Valve product so they don't include it.

 

Ah right ta, coulda sworn I saw it there.

I already have it but dont use it shame I can't gift my copy to my son.

 

I just noticed on the Lara Croft: GoL page that if you own any other Tomb Raider game you get an extra 10% off... anyone seen any similar deals?

 

Yeah yesterday it was Portal. They're doing one game like that every day.

 

Gunna pick up Puzzle Quest for the Mrs at only 90p, thinking about Tomb Raider as well! I am scared though, once the steam sale gate opens it is very hard to close it again.

 

Anyone played "The Witcher"?

Its the only thing today that has tempted me.

(mostly due the the DRM stance for Witcher 2).

 

I could never get into The Witch, the combat bothered me. I know a LOT of people loved it though.

Anyway Laura Croft and The Guardian of Light at that price = purchased.

 

And what about Burnout Paradise?

The only modern driving game I'm used to is Dirt 2.

Any good?

If you like arcade racing games (crazier than the Need For Speed franchise) where you destroy cars and make stunts you're gonna love it. I almost picked it up, but I've already played it too much on a friend's Xbox.

 

Does anyone know how this works? I suppose you need to have bought said Tomb Raider game(s) on STEAM? I have all the Tomb Raider games, but none of them was bought on STEAM.

EDIT: "Retail CD-Keys for this game cannot be registered through Steam." Bah! There goes my chance to save some money...

 

Woundn't mind Gol but can't really be bothered giving Steam my credit card details just for this, I doubt i'll be buying from them again.
