Merry Christmas LooseNeutral Thanks man, I think if id spent all the time that I spent test fitting actually working on the case it would have been done in June lol
Last night I risked life and limb through the snow covered back roads to collect the final parts from the painters... was it worth it? .... Yeah I think it was A few quick shots from this morning Well I'm off to have an early Christmas with my family but I'll be back on the 23rd to finish putting it all together and with any luck the final photos should be with you by the end of the month Have a great Christmas everyone
I made a friend called Squirel666 on the WCUK forums who in turn put me in touch with his friend Gordon I believe he used standard rattle cans after sandblasting and priming. Have to say it is a fantastic finish with good coverage and next to no over spray Chuffed that I went down that route rather than powder coating now specially as it saved me enough to buy some more goodies Thanks
OOOww you dirty rotten muth*&^@%$! You tease, you BEE-ah-ch, Rattle cans, sayWTFnay-nay! And you leave a thirsty man with a sprinkle of tinkle! Ya could've least put some tensile and holly around it! and that tag with my shipping info! and where's the mistletoe ....oh Santa - I love her! HE HE HE and a HO HO HO. Oh Yeah , looks very kicka$$ Ed . I don't really get why people get upset about wire fan grills, they are great for air flow, stop fingers going in, someone needs to create some awesome grills that have the same properties but that look cool . But yeah it looks saaaweeeeeeet .
ha ha ..oh sorry HO HO, sorry man I lost that bit of paper with your address guess I'll have to keep it now then I was never going to have them as there was never going to be fans in the top section but I have to admit they have kind of grown on me over time Thanks dude! One day I'll be able to afford a laser cutter and get set to work on this! definatly a market for high air flow awesome looking grills! me to soooooooooon well as soon as I get back from the family Christmas
That looks terrific, shows what can be done with spray cans. And something great to apply the paint to of course,
