Beautiful! I don't usually care for all the background-stuff, but that's a shot I wouldn't mind having as my desktop
I took a few versions of that scene.... this one's shape is a little more desktop friendly. I'm slowly putting stuff on flickr. Getting my travel pics on there at the moment, then I'll start putting other stuff on there when I get the time.
Some shots from a wedding. Decorations: Henna on one of my cousins' hands: My sister, always happy to pose: (click for big)
From mine? Sure... click on it... it will take you to a flickr page... download the original res if you want.. Just crop it. Technically you'll be infringing the creative commons conditions by altering it, but I won't tell anyone I'm still in the process of uploading stuff to flickr, so there's not much on there yet. Or try clicking this. That should work Awesome!
A photo I took of my 5 month old daughter yesterday. My first attempt at studio photography, using a shoot-through umbrella and a softbox. Didn't have time to position the lights or set the position and power properly, so it was a rush job. Some feedback would be great.
Thanks. Here are some shots from Amritsar (it's in a state called Punjab, in India). It is the city where the Golden Temple and Akal Takht are located, the holiest place for Sikhs. It is analogous to Mecca, or St. Peter's Basilica. Akal Takht: Golden Temple at sunset: The Golden Temple by night: (click for big, more descriptions, and more pictures from the trip to Amritsar)
I'm a fake Punjabi. I was born and brought up in Delhi, spent most of my teenage years in Dehradun and all of my adult life (yeah, all 3 years of it) in Los Angeles. I'm less Sikh than your average housecat.
