What's "mine" is a little debatable. I've set myself up as the controller of not only my PCs but my housemate's as well.

    Leaves me with:
    Main (mine) - See sig
    Secondary (mine, used by housemate) - E6750, Gigabyte 775 UD3 (can't be bothered to remember the exact name), 2GB G.Skill DDR2 800, 700W OCZ PSU, 8800GT
Not mine - I'm not sure I even want to know what. I haven't had the misfortune of needing to work on it yet, but I'm sure it will be dire. Guessing AM2 socket based on who specced the machine up for him at the time of purchase, and the ATi 4870 GPU.
Not mine - Some cheap AM2 CPU on a budget ASUS board with 2GB of G.Skill DDR2 of some low speed. Going to slap an old 8600GT into it.

Having this many PCs to tool around has me being a happy camper. So much freedom to test, swap and replace! Got an HTPC build in the works as well, just waiting to see how Sandy Bridge i3 and mini-ITX options work out compared to the ultra low cost AMD ones.

    4, legally speaking.

The workstation/gaming rig - day to day usage.

The server - Has a rather large RAID 5 array named "Everything" - 'nuff said.

The netbook - for when I'm anywhere except from the spec-cave. It's my laptop which I can actually be bothered to take places

The parent's machine - this actually lives about 120 miles from where I live, but hell, it's my kit. Their machine died and I figured I owed my dad for the three PC's he'd bought the family when I was in my formative years and PC's actually cost around 1k - so I threw him together a rescue machine from some old Socket A stuff a few years ago and they continue to use the ancient thing to this day.

edit: All in all, about 17Ghz of processing power. Need moar!

My rig in my sig is my machine. My dad has my old off casts with an Core 2 Duo 2100 machine. My girlfriend has a Pentium 4300 powered laptop. The best thing is both my rig and her laptop had HDMI outputs so we can watch iPlayer and 4OD on out 32" telly (students so a telly licence isn't viable).

    I love my rig.

Chrome Cr-48 for most things, and an Asus UL50VT for things that need Windows.

Still saving for a real rig..

excluding NAS boxes, We have 3.

My main rig is used for Photo editing, Video editing, Gaming, DVD authoring and occasional music editing/DJ software.... plus the usual browsing and word processing.

My wife's rig is used for Photoshop and Quark/InDesign, Gaming, Browsing.

Server is literally used for that. Sits there headless, delivering files on demand and occasional torrent duties.

    1. My main rig - see sig.

It now has a Gigabyte X58A-UD3R revision 2.0 mainboard however.

    2. Wife's rig. AMD Phenom X2 550BE, GTS250, 4GB RAM, 24" Dell 2405

These are old pictures when it was a Socket 754 system with an old Iiyama CRT... it now houses a Phenom and uses a Dell 2405FPW 24" screen

    3. Main server - see sig.

im single, so my machines are all mine: :D

    1. Main one, spec in the signature
    2. Netbook, for when visiting places overnights
    3. NAS box, Synology Ds410j. 4x2TB drives, 3 are in RAID5, single one as periodic backup from the RAID, incase RAID controller fails

oh, and an iPhone 4. mentioning because i don't really go on MSN/Skype/Facebook or check my Email on my computer anymore, using iPhone for those and sometimes even Bit-tech, so it should be count as a machine. (because other people have their email/web machines)

    pics!

    Main computer:

(that Samsung monitor is no longer there, im a single monitor guy, single ultra-high 27inch monitor :D )

Synology Ds410j, just search for them on the interwebs for picture of those.

netbook, just search for HP mini 1000 for them.

iphone, just search for iPhone 4 for bucket-loads of pictures of it.

This thread has just reminded me to get my old parts on ebay...!

My new main machine is a 980x based one...Others are Q6600 and Q8200 systems which will be dismantled pronto to help pay off the new one (sort of) :)

Finally have an oldish Dell precision laptop..Our spare room is festooned with dying pc's/parts - it's where pc's go to die...The missus will love me when it's all gone..which will never happen.

    Here's my room :)

    2 really.

    1. 1090BE, GTX470, 4 GB, 2 TB, 700 W, Corsair 800D

    2. Dell D620, 1440x900, 2 GHz, 4 GB, 160 GB

If need be, I can also throw together two other rigs (including i7 870 and Phenom 1100/970), but really what I have and use now is based on what I actually want and need. If only I also had an SSD to go with that, I'd be happy.
