Other On the 79 bus home

On the way home today well about 10 min ago. I spotted a fellow custom pc reader a subscriber just like me. It made me wounder how may Pc lovers there are cus i have to say round my very chavy area its all 360 (pirated games 90%)

Hah, proper hard core geeks like those on bit-tech may be few and far between my friend, but they congregate and move around in groups! A lot of my closest friends are what you lovingly refer to as geeks (as am I, just to clarify). Rather fantastically, they're also all extremely cool, fun loving guys and girls!

When i read my copy of CustomPC mag on the tube people look at me like im reading a top shelf mag!!

I made a few good freinds from the forums, most of my mate just about know how send and email and find porn so it's just not worth talking to them about the modding scene..

Lol My mate always refers to CPC as PC porn.

 

You should do what I do and put it in a copy of nuts. Doesn't even get a second glance that way.

 

well funny you should say that i have seen people read nuts and zoo on the tube and no-one gives them a second look but when i pull out my cpc mag its like shock horror what is he thinking, does he not have any shame !!

I have even seen someone reading daily sport (softcore newspaper ) and opposite sat 3 attractive women and they didnt find it at all distubing

 

Theres still the general view that anyone into computers and electronics etc is the sterotypical nerd, this really gets on my nerves tbh.

The looks some people give me if I read CPC, pcgamer or white dwarf on the bus / on my tea break in work lol

Yet as other people have said they dont bat an eye at people reading zoo or nuts etc

 

Well if you look at me i look the total opposite of a nerd, im attractive, i have great taste in fashion, im athletic,the girls love me, i mean i can go on and on! ! (just dont tell the wife )

Meh met a CPC reader once and he wasn't umm..... well very responsive. I spotted the mag and tried to spark up a conversation to no joy. Was very disappointed

I know 2 CPC subs IRL, well one is no longer a sub and neither read the forums afaik but I always know I can get some g33k sp33k out of them if the need comes.....
