At work when we plugged a laptop into one of our switches were hit a few thousand Mbps once, something like 4000 or so. It also doesn't hurt we have two OC-192s piped into our building.

 

Congrats. I am 99% of the way to making the decision that one will be coming my way this week too.

 

The realisation that moving home will literally halve my petrol consumption, possibly even better than halve. I've been spending roughly £30/week, but I've been home sorting a few things out for the last week. 9 days since I refilled and I still have just under half a tank

Also the fact that when I do move in we'll be getting Infinity, hello awesomeness!

It's my 4th wedding anniversary today.

I've been working at Argos for three months as a Christmas temp. It wasn't too bad. Best thing about it was this though; my contract ends Friday, for some bizarre reason I got taken aside today asked if it was okay if I could take my last two shifts as paid holiday. Bit of a no-brainer?

3 2TB drives to install and 2 new GPUS to install tomorow, I havent had a good session inside my PC for nearly 2 years now (unemployment sucks), cant wait to get under the bonnet again tonight.

oh and because of my crysis runs getting popular all of a sudden youtube have upped my video limit to 15 mins instead of 10

 

Actually they upped the 10 minute limit sometime last year to 15 minutes for all accounts and 30 minutes for older accounts IIRC.

Finally got my invitation to my school's honor society, only a semester late :/

 

Just saw Black Swan after what can only be classed as pretty sweet day.

We had a big night in Belfast tonight, with the Giants hosting a testimonial match to honour one of their best and outright longest serving players ever, Shane Johnson.

This night was so full of awesome I can't even describe the awesome. Mike "The Hoff" Hoffman and Paxton "Packer" Schulte each got 5 minute penalties for "dancing" after a pretty friendly "fight" on the ice And our mascot Finn McCool also got to play a shift on the ice with the Allstars This was easily the most entertaining game of hockey I have ever seen!

Final score was 14-11 to the Shane Johnson Allstars

 

I'm not sure what sport this is in regards to, but it sounds like it was an awesome time


Just got home from my dinner date. Had a great time. Definitely see things progressing further
