This looks like insane, frustrating and madly addictive fun, I'll be having a shot of this one.

well maybe this is the problem:
"The game crashes immediately when I run it.
Atom Zombie Smasher currently has an issue with some ATI video drivers. We're investigating a fix for this.

In the meantime, the current workaround solution is to roll back to an older version of the ATI video driver. We've been told the version 10.9 driver works."

I just bought it and can't get it to work, using nvidia graphics.

At the end of the installation I get the error:

    Unable to execute file:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Atom Zombie Smasher\data\atomzombiesmasher.exe
    CreateProcess failed; code 5.
    Access is denied.

Demo not working for me. Bookmarked so when they release a patch for ATI users ill give it a go. Rolling back graphics drivers is a hassle from past experiences.

Anyone know sys requirements - will it run on a modest laptop, and are iPad variants in the making? TIA.

    But I'm sick of zombies.
Almost as much as I'm sick of orcs, elves and dwarves.
I'll probably still try this out.

Not an expert, but it seems odd that the game is Open GL, but there seems to be an issue with some of the latest ATI drivers. (Refuse to call them AMD, major bad decision on AMD's part IMHO).

Unless its a problem with the latest drivers implementation of OpenGL of course...

Solved it! Wasn't an issue with running as admin or vista/xp compatibility, tried those immediately without effect. Turns out Sophos was flagging it up as "suspicious", happens every patch, but it's easy to solve, just had to authorise it manually.

The game is fantastic! Runs on old PCs a charm too =D

I find myself really trying to rescue these people...even if the do stumble into my carefully orchestrated killzones.

Ok, i rolled back to ATI drivers 10.9 (win7 x64) and the game works fine, doesnt load on latest drivers at all (try the demo before buying!). Its a fun little game, but it finished far to early for my liking. I failed to successfully eradicate the level 4 areas in time (kill all zombies before nightfall, often when there are 8 or more entrances and limited bombs and traps). I reached the 6000 victory score while still nowhere near clearing the board and it wouldnt let me carry on playing that game, could only reply the final level. You can change the end game score limit to extend things, but by that point i was winning comfortably and it seemed pointless as i could dominate everything except the level 4 challenges.

Overall, not that happy with my purchase, i expected more depth, this seems like a flash game that i wouldnt expect to pay £10 for.
