fix'd I'm sure if the pope feels bad about it the vatican is capable of donating that amount to projects in underpriveleged nations.
I wonder how the "people" would feel about aid money being used if other "important" religious folk came over for a visit...from my 2 years at a catholic church I *do* know that god is very generous - our headmistress got a new BMW every year
Ahh yes! I think Dara O'Briain also mentioned the fact he was Polish so I think it's from there... as I'm not a huge follower of the catholic church, I think I can be forgiven.
This seems to happen a lot in the sense that religion is one to behold as a taker of money. I'm not calling the pope's visit to the U.K corrupt or in any such matter, but as I'm an atheist, I can't justify such an amount being spent on a religious event of any kind.
