    - pipped me by a week or so I reckon (I'm having a few GTX260 'issues' - the new 6.41r2 client keeps causing my PC's to reboot ...... bit of a pain when you're away on your hols!)

    I hit 6 million yesterday. Meh, it doesn't seem like much (for the length of time that I've been folding) but considering I've done it on overclocked 8800 GS's, 8800 GTS's, 9800 GT's and Q6600's up until this point and haven't been folding at full steam for over a year now I think I've done all right. As many of you know, I wanted to at least double the output of the farm in the 8xxx and 9xxx series GPU configuration by racking everything up and building clones of each of the rigs, but plans changed and it worked out to be much more economical and much better value to put the money towards newer cards and processors, reducing the number of machines in the farm overall but at the same time massively increasing the output.

    I'm going to shut 'em all down now to give the electric bill a bit of a breather and start the rebuild to get the newer generation CPUs and GPUs installed and tested before the chimps challenge. If all goes well with that, when I start folding again at the start of the challenge I'll have more than tripled my output.

    See you at the starting line in a couple of months time then? :thumb:

    Well done Uni, I hope everything goes well, I will be available for the Chimps Challenge and am slowly upgrading the folding units to the new ones ready to go still doing a bit of folding though :thumb:
