My atual problem, are the feet, here in Brazil, is so dificult to find cheap materials to make them... but after some contacts with my friends, one friend calling Yemerich, helped me with the know-how to make the feet with acrylic, and i project them this way:

If you pull it off, those will be some respected feet on my part! They look great.

Thanks guys, i will do my best to make the feet, at the same way with i'm project them. :thumb:

I managed to find acrylic cheap here in Rio de Janeiro, initially I had gone to a store that had charged me R$ 345 just for the material (the equivalent of U$ 200) ... :nono:

But I managed to find another store that will sell me the stuff for R$ 62 (the equivalent of U$ 40) ... That's right, U$ 160 less ... :jawdrop:

And I work as a lawyer, and as of lately I have not had much free time because I have had to travel to other states here in Brazil, hopefully very soon, bringing news to you all.. :naughty:

Oh good. I just wonder about such high costs of materials in Brazil. Would it not be cheaper to import yours from the U.S or would shipping/ shipping costs be an issue?

In reality it would be better, the final price would more expensive because the government charges 60% (yes 60%) on the product's value plus the value of transportation.

For example, a Corsair 800D, if I were to import, would go for U$ 290 + U$ 180 freight and the sum of the values that would be U$ 470 would fall 60% tax, or $ 282, the total value of the case, would be U$ 752 .

This is why everything goes so expensive to import any things here in Brazil... :wallbash:

Guys, it's been a while since I've been rolling with the story of the feet ... well, today went to the store shopping for acrylic parts for the feet.

After a brief conversation with one of the owners of the store, I agreed with him for them to do the gluing and finishing components in the measures that I passed and then I'll do the final assembly in the diagram I posted above.

Monday I will have parts on hand and so the case will be going to the (almost) final stage of it.

    Now we'll wait ... :D

    Thank you all. :thumb:

And as a bonus I got from a businessman friend of mine who works with aluminum, which gave me some tips to the case, the perforated plate than he did in his company...

Of course I forgot to tell him that the case was black, so he sent in white paint ...

Now only more news over the weekend ... because after all, someone has to work ... :hehe:

    Regards to all. :thumb:
