Boxtards pay $50 a year for the privilege. I don't mind waiting a month or two for the occasional dlc, if it means i get to play on this awesome open platform without a subscription.
But I have an issue with expansions/DLC being console/PC specific. I bought the game... I lie... I pre-ordered New Vegas, why should some console tart get it before me?
Like i said, because they pay extra. Microsoft is putting a small part of those subscription fees towards exclusivity deals to make their users feel spechul.
They paid extra... I paid before they paid... therefor I'm higher up and deserve this DLC. I'm quite happy to not get Dead Money and then get the others if I'm honest. Can't wait for the next Fallout game something with an engine that will cry 360's and PS3's cry quite nicely while chugging away on a decent gfx card on pc
You don't have to pay the subscription to get DLC on 360. You just have to pay for the DLC itself same as on PC. Business-wise it makes sense for microsoft to get a brief exclusive on it I suppose. Gaming-wise it is annoying, but then different consoles and pc get exclusives at various times anyway.
