    I thank you all! :)

The Radgrills have been a royal pain youknowwhere... I made 8 designs, and I just couldn't get the image in my head right in the real design...

But then it dawned on me! Right here, I gotta put in a warning! You may or may not like the design!

The tower is called "The Catalyst" - Mostly for the reason that I heard the song by Linkin Park on Youtube first time, in the trailer for Medal Of Honor. And yes, I'm a fan!
So I thought, to heck with it, I'll make the Radgrill in the same tribute style! And I really think it turned out great, but you decide for yourself! :)

Oh yeah, got the holes drilled in the bottom for mounting as well, test fit:

It's gonna look snazzy when it's done! But I really got to make sure all is ready before it glue that sucker together! :)

    Radgrills - Started milling:

    First part done:

    Second part milled:

Still a bit of filing to be done:

A bit more to be done:

I'll get the first one filed as the second is in the mill tomorrow! Let's hope it's gonna turn out sweeeeet! :)

C ya tomorrow with another update! :)

    Ty very much m8! :thumb:

Yes you may, and I shall even answer! It's a standard 2mm aluminum. I was going to go with 3mm, but since I use a 2mm mill for the whole thing, I decided it was thick enough, and wouldn't take as long time to mill it! :)

Told ya I'd be back with an update! :)

Got the other grill done, and cleaned them up. Gonna fill them with black paint, and I usually spray them, and sand them afterwards. This time I tried my luck with some other paint, and a syringe. It went well, but I think the paint was just a little to thick, so it didn't flatten out perfectly. Excess paint will be removed with thinner and a cotton-swab.

I'll try to get this fixed tomorrow! :)

But a couple of pics for now:

And I also made an extra front for my second display for the watertemp. I'll take the display itself to work tomorrow, and mill that down, and glue on the front after it's been polished:

That's it. Be back tomorrow with a little more! :)

A couple of small things done today!

First thing's first; The paint I put in the radgrills just didn't work out, it looked like crap...

So I went back to the good ol' technology! :thumb: Spray and pray!

Also, through the paint you can see the trace of the mill.

    On with it:

    Sprayed:

Started sanding the paint off of the edge, it's starting to look good:

All the edges on one of the logos:

    Hope you like it! :thumb:

Last night, while going thru the plan of the build, I remembered that I put the temp. sensor for the water in the bottom of the old res. So I had to make a new bottom part for the new one:

Testmount of the bottom part for the 2 reservoirs:

And, since I was smart enough to mod the old temp. display, I had to mod the new one as well! :)

    Milled:

    Glued in:

That should do it for now! :)

Since it's my B-day tomorrow, I won't be able to stay and get more done after work... Some people apparently find it a great idea to celebrate me.. And sometimes you gotta throw them a bone! - C ya friday I guess! :)

Well thank you all for those heartwarming wishes! :)

Now quit nagging me on the WII!

Since it IS my birthday, I just had to see how the radgrills would look done! So I took the time to finish one of them! :thumb: Please remember that the holes will be covered with screws, and a small moded washer! :)

yeah, and I reeeeeeally hate the WIN7 picture resize, but that's just how it goes...

    Pics of the grill!:

    Aaaand a closeup! :

I think it's pretty darn sweet! I hope to actually get The Catalyst done during the weekend, so let's get our fingers crossed for that! :)
