I'm more looking forward to the singleplayer experience that Crysis 2 will bring. But it's nice to see my computer can run the Multiplayer Demo quite easily.

I havent completed a game yet. The servers have kicked me off three times.

I can't even log on mycrysis.com after creating an account there and clicking the confirmation link

    What a waste of bandwidth

I still haven't managed to enter a single game.

I've even manually opened the ports the game wants and got nowhere.

On the plus side, most of the games on the server list report a 0ms ping, which is clearly fantastic. Hats off to the GameSpy code monkeys for that.

    Greetings!
Makes me wonder if all players turn it off and what is the degree of advantage that it gives you...

All listed in the NAT/Firewall section of the readme file in the Support folder of the demo install, but the only benefit of doing it yourself is giving you something to do for 3 mins.

    I have no sodding idea.

I can only tell you that turning it on has little effect on my menu navigation accuracy.

Auto aim + PC = epic fail.. If I recall.. Isn't auto-aim intended to assist consoles with their clumsy thumbsticks? Since when did the PC need aim assist?

Only reason I'll DL this demo is for seeing how my PC handles it..

    Ran sweet. 1600x1200.

The graphics are nice but im not impressed with the gamplay. It feels very floaty, and blurry every time you do something some post processing filter kicks in..

My NAT type is listed as strict, but I've still been able to get into a few games so far. That said, I've had more luck joining servers which are almost empty.

Will give this a try. Steam downloads seems to be busy :D. Think The whole world is downloading from steam. Will see how it goes and give it a try tomorrow.

Hopefully it will be worth the wait.

Well if you love perks, unlocks, awards, restricted classes until your a certain level, an unforgiving lack of teamwork and shovel loads of points for a single kill, then you'll love......... CALL OF DUTY and CRYSIS 2!

I for one will not be buying the game to support crytek and pc gaming!

Have played it a bit this evening. Is (sadly) nothing special IMO. It definitely feels like a 99% console game which was 'PCified' (ugh) as a last thought.

I was considering buying it when it came out, although now I'll probably wait to see what the reviews of the single player are like and possible buying it after it comes down in price.

Before everyone totally jumps on the "*@!# crytech" bandwagon
Is it possible the demo was designed from the console game and ported to PC rather than redesigning another demo version from the PC code? Might also be to reduce expectations so when the game hits it'll have been worry over nothing!
