Nice work, eddie. I particularly like the bagpiper silhouetted against the stage lights. The way the light looks like it's pouring down on him is fantastic. I'm much more a fan of the traditional Celtic music, but I will say the few times I've caught the Celtic Women show on PBS the violinist always outperforms the others.
Thanks Monkey. Yeah the bagpiper image stood out immediately and one of the few I found personally satisfying. Originally, I was miffed at the lack of lighting. But like so many times, what is presented can often be a lot better than what's in my head. I'm a fan of traditional Celtic as well and this show is more of a ballad-type style which there is evidently an audience. You are right, the violinist accompanied by the musicians they had could easily go on it alone, particularly around here with a big bluegrass audience.
That's one of the things I always liked whenever I saw her play. She seems genuinely enthusiastic about the music, and the way she twists and turns and whips her hair around just makes the whole thing fun.

My photography at gigs is starting to improve a little now. felt there was definitely an improvement at the latest gig until the main act came on with only one stage light.. nothing could make it bright enough for any photo.
