 Sorry to be the one to pop the joy bubble Marcos but you need to get 1st place for a prize in MOTM, it's MOTY where you get something for 1st, 2nd or 3rd :duh::lol:.
But 3rd is awesome going too as is getting nominated in the first place :thumb: same as me for January :D.

Yeah, just watched now... :wallbash: :wallbash: :duh: :D

But it's great, after all, be chosen as one of the three best projects from a site as recognizable as the bit-tech is an honor. :cooldude:  :thumb:

Guys, unfortunately, another had a problem with the progress of my case... :wallbash:

A friend of mine, would bring from Germany, two anti-vandal switches with blue ring, but he could not afford... :grr:

So I had to buy here in Brazil, hich has only one:

Only one problem, the switch with the orange ring... :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash:

Then, after he arrives, I'll use my skills learned from MacGyver ( :naughty: ) and change the LED from orange to blue... :dremel:

Well folks, that's it for now, now just wait for the arrival of the switch. :thumb:

    Marcos...

I've been following your "mega-box" build for a while now... I have to say; that thing will be EPIC once it is finished...

As for your troubles sourcing parts... Do you happen to have relatives/friends in the US? Maybe they could buy the parts for you and then ship them to you... I'm sure the extra cost of shipping from US to Brazil would not even begin to get close to the way the local retailers there overprice these things.

I live/work in Florida. I would say I ship stuff to South America at least once a month (Colombia, Argentina, even Brazil)...
The company I work for has offices in almost every country down there; and most of the people that work down there will have stuff they buy via Amazon, etc shipped to our Miami office and then we DHL the packages to them... It is cheaper than allowing Amazon, or whatever eTailer do international shipping.

So if you ever need some help getting a part; feel free to contact me and I'll help you out if you want.

    Cheers
    Sebastian

After passing me by PM how do I get in touch with you, I have file and when you need to speak with you directly.

    I have news guys!

    The switch has arrived!

    Very well packed:

I tested to see how the LED works:

I'm having a problem, the switch is all sealed, I think it will be impossible to open the switch... :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash:

To give you an idea of what I'm talking about, it looks like the switch is:

It is made of aluminum and has this white piece of nylon that is not subsiding... So I guess I have to leave anyway and not use the LED that it has...:wallbash: :wallbash:

Does anyone have any tips on how to open? :worried:
