Was planning to get a 560TI.. either the MSI Twin Frozer or the ASUS DirectCU II. Im sure 1 is more than capable for now and later if necessary I could purchase another and run it in SLI. Not sure if the PSU is over the top for SLI 560 either For the monitor I was thinking 24 inch or 22 inch, max resolution while gaming would be 1920 x 1080 and full HD Recommendations for GPU and a nice monitor please! Budget... as little as possible. Dont want to spend over 1000 pound but it looks like I have to. Max would probably be... £1100 (for whole build) this leaves around £350 for leftovers.
Yes, Get either of those 560s (whichevers cheaper) I think a 750W is 'bout right for SLI 560s Don't know much about monitors.
This monitor is probably the best in that spec that's close to your price range. If possible go for an IPS panel over TN. Though with a 560 that puts you at around £450 GBP... you have to pay for quality.
I agree with the monitor. I don't agree with the price. These prices are much better linky 1 linky 2 And you could always drop the gfx down to a 460?

These IPS/TN panels, will they make much of a difference to me? Im not much of a monitor guy so I dont know, I just want something that I can look at for hours on end, It does not have to have the best picture quality around as long as it supports HD and is a decent size I am happy
its up to you really, but an IPS panel will make you glad you spent the money everytime you see it, SLI will just give you more frames. have you considered single 560 + IPS? thats what i'd get without a doubt, if you want to sli you can always get another card later
If you read the OP, he said he would like to get a single 560 and monitor now, and then another 560 later. He only wants to spend about £300. So how do you get a 560 + IPS to under £300?

Sadly I can't show you any picture comparison, as if you have anything other than a PVA or IPS LCD monitor or a CRT monitor, your monitor will show everything wrong, and probably show the wrong picture as the most nice.
Where are you pricing up your whole rig build from? With the right pricing, you might be able to afford the rig, an IPS monitor and a GTX 560 for £1100. I'll have a go and add it to this post in a minute or five.
Cheers for the input. Would you recommend me buying a monitor, and settling for a cheap second hand GPU for the time being, when I have the funds I can upgrade to my desired card? Perhaps by then the prices will have fallen? Ill probably have a little look around on ebay for a 8800. EDIT: Pricing it up from SCAN. I could save a bundle with an OEM version of windows 7 perhaps. But I am not too clear on the differences VS retail. Some claim it does not allow any upgrade at all and others say they can put in any mobo they want.

If it is cheaper for you, just purchase the Upgrade Version of Windows 7 instead. There are numerous guides to activating it when doing a clean install. It takes about a minute to get it activated. The only thing you need to know now is leave the CD Key blank during the install and then google: "clean install windows 7 upgrade" on your new O/S. The regedit method works best. You can also call Microsoft and tell them your hard drive crashed and you had to do a clean install and they'll help you out.

I have purchased from him before and ALL of his gear in mint! Sure its only 1680x1050 but its an IPS still .... Would leave you enough cash for ya 560. If you wanted bigger and better in future these things always hold their second hand value very well. As i said this is a very trusted seller and you will onky get top notch gear from him. If you want to go SLI in the future, bear in mind the the twin frozer will leave more heat in the case which can build up considerably if you don't have sufficient airflow in the pcie area, also heat rises so it will affect your CPU temps. Might be best to go for one with a covered design that directs the hot air out the back of the case. Saying that my cards are open design and it only really affects the temps when everything is really stressed, hasn't happened whilst playing games yet.
