BFBC2 CPC server revamped

Uh... I need the M1911. Tried out all the other pistols the other day for kicks, it went badly, even the revolver didn't work for me. Looks like I'll be sticking with it for a while yet.

 

Really? When I play as engineer I tend to use my Grach more than my SMG I like it so much (when I'm not using tracers, that is). The thing fires so fast that it counters the slightly lower damage compared to the M1911 and means you don't have to be quite so accurate with it, but the Grach also has such a big clip that you can easily get a couple of kills without reloading it.

 

Had fun last night, finally unlocked the M95....But was seriously dissappointed with it...Well back to the GOL!

After I Disconnected (I did have fun for a while shooting KamikazePidgeon in the face....) I got terrible lag, was it my end or yours?

 

i didn't get any lag when i play last night, not sure about other people on the server.

this is really strange......

 

Someone mentioned something about Realtek Drivers on mumble? Forgot who it was but I knew it applied to me aswell.....Could be an issue with EA?

Yeah that was me. If you are using onboard audio, and have Realtek drivers, then the latest BC2 update caused some conflict between those drivers and Punkbuster. You can use a sound card, or wait for a fix. Or play with no sound.

Some people's systems BSOD, others get major lockups, and some like me get freezing every twenty minutes or less.

 

Anyone on tonight, or are you all playing crysis 2?

luckily my face remained intact tonight. but my SMG has ripped a rather big hole where your torso should be.

 

Or use a USB headset which has a sound chip in it. Has anyone noticed that mumble.exe sets itself to high priority? Causes some severe jerking ingame for me if left alone, sticking it back to normal fixes it though.

Also, Mumble is quite the bandwidth hog on a bad connection. I prefer my TS server

Edit: Just noticed the bad formatting that the Bit-Tech app created, need to submit that in a bug report....

 

Hmm, won't let me change it, 'Access Denied', how did you set it to normal? Also, do you have to do it everytime you start it or just once?

Just pop into Task Manager and change it, which I imagine is what you did.

As Neal says, make sure you're using an admin account and it should work. I'm stumped as to why it wouldn't though, it's not a system process so should be free to play with. I do it everytime I load it up, it makes huge mouse lag while it starts up because of its priority.

 

I'm prepared for a game now, anyone?

 

I went on the serv a few days ago and it's a little too laggy for me (understandably). It makes it difficult to lead my shots and, even on a stationary target, it often doesn't reg at all
