Well, I certainly think THIS cooler deserves a crack at the Frio on LGA1366, don't you?

I'd love to get one, but I only just got a Frio...is this one any bigger than the Frio in terms of height though?

Seen this the other day & Tom says there are much better coolers & the mounting system needs revising, I agree & was a great review so was surprised to see such a good score here at first sight I thought this could be good but oh well maybe not.

How come the prolimatech megahalems aren't ever included in the comparisons in reviews? it's a really good air cooler & can use your own choice of fans.

Corsair H-60, similar price, that's cooling solution I would go for.

I reckon this could do better than the Frio at a higher overclock. I mean the thing has 7 heatpipes!

As far as I'm aware yes. The only thing that fouled with our Fenrir was the AMD mounting lugs, so anything that doesn't use a unified (i.e. AMD and Intel) mounting bracket should be ok.

Good review, think I may go for this to replace my Corsair H50. Hate the fact the H50 radiator needs a fan at full speed for it to work efficiently, which makes it extremely noisy (it's even a Noctua NF-P12). If I run it at 900rpm it will hit 90-100c otherwise.

I've been using one since release.

Great bit of kit, and so very, very quiet.

Plus it looks sexy as hell :D

Only downside - Normal sized Ram only ( no large heatsinks - Dominator etc. ) as it covers all 4 ram slots ( Heatsink covers 2 / fan covers other 2 )

Nice review, looks a quality item. Costly however.

Awesome looking cooler, but I'm quite happy with my cheap and cheerful Tranquillo.

As an aside, what's with the Intellitxt malarkey? I thought you guys categorically said you wouldn't be having them:

This is the second time I've seen them today, both on the word 'performance' (the other was in the MSI 6850 Cyclone review, again on the last page, though after a refresh it disappeared).

@edit: Ok, seems to be gone now, even though it was still there after 3 or 4 refreshes before I posted. What gives?

When you get to this price level do the all in one water cooling kits not start becoming better value for money? i.e. the Corsair H50 and Antec Kühler H2O 620. Plus they don't take up your entire case! Is it possible to include these in the comparisons?
