    Thanks.

But now we have a new problem it is a ok one but is stange right now have machinist block dont know what to make. Very sim to when a artist looks at a blank canvas. What should we make OH BOY. DA DONT KNOW.

    LOL

    :dremel:

Was thinking of making a Huge Billet Cup Holder for the Truck but that would take some time and a Ton of Chips.

Also need to make bracket to hold watercooling tank.

Have a ton of ideas running right now just need to put them into metal.

Starting to clean up very nice could use a nice coat of paint and get a cnc kit for it someday

Working on a video of just messing around with it and need to take some new pic's now that 2 layers of oil are removed. But that oil and grime is what has saved it for the last 33 years . The ways are in very nice shape. Need to make some table covers so all the chips dont get down in the t - slots would like that a lot.

Well of to the Garage :dremel:

Well just want to pass on some info that about got to learn the hard way.

Last weekend did some cleaning of mill with simple green to get rid of the crud. Then when was all done cleaning gave all parts a nice coat of wd-40. To keep it from surface rusting. Well walked past mill Sat and it was nice and warm out but last few days were cool and cold well. So mill was still cold.

Mill had condensation on it BIG time it was still cold from last night but air was warm so table had a nice light layer of surface rust.

So got the quaker state 10-30 out and gave all parts of mill a Oil Bath .

Well over the years have found that the best way to buy alum or any metal is stop at scrap yard or any local machine shop and ask if they have any scrap lots of times they have some alum that is to small for the job they are working on and they scrap it out other wise they start to have a scrap yard and takes up to much space after you get many of them.

It takes time to digg for them and is much faster to order in what they need.

That day that found that block was able to get 200 pounds of alum for $1 a pound and that is a BARGIN just that block would of cost around $200. And was able to get some other blocks bigger than that. So best deal is to ask around and dont rush cuse the faster you try to get something the more it cost. The best deals are one you find along the way and stock pile them for another day.

Here is also a great way is go to scrap yard and find out what the metal will bring then go to a local machine shop and tell them you will pay more than what scrap price is . In the end your saving a truck load over new cost.

 I could have lived without the tender fondling at the end of the video.
I have trouble getting any cooperation out of the scrapyards here. You get treated very differently if you look/sound like a little kid.

If you have any more of those chunks, a frame/heatsink ITX build might be in order. :D
