The detail on the watch movements stunning. These arent renders yet, but ive been playing with some new sketchup plugins, So far its taken approx 1 1/2 hours. So not quick by any means Hopefully ill get it finished soon so i can post the renders!
How did you get such awesome curves in Sketchup?! I thought it curled up and died when you had the absolute nerve to draw so much as a circle. What plugin did you use?
Its the artisan plugin, its expensive at $40 but im using the 15 day trial. Has some really cool tools though. Yeah its a sort of F1 body, i just wanted something curvy to experiment with, if you search artisan sketchup in youtube, theres a few videos that show some of what can be achieved.
That is something I definitely want to look into. I like the simplicity of Sketchup, but it infuriates me sometimes. Blender is better with curves, but its interface is just silly.
Thanks! Was the best model I could find on the 3d warehouse that the headlights didnt leak back! This is my first time playing with spot/mesh/etc lights so It's all new to me. Was messing around last night with a model then found the light stuff and zomg! That render took 6 hours overnight on my core2duo mobile. Can't wait to get my server board going again ><
Oy looks good fusis! what car is it? can't see... Maybe put some red tail lights in too! EDIT oh damn double post!! internetz crazy! please delete
Can only do 2 renders a day - one over night and one when I'm at work! I need to get my other board going!
Hi there... 3D renders great my entry, not yet finished in detail. Audi R8/Maxon cinema4D R11,5 & R12 all polygonal with point to point on spline cage technic
Nice work Genghis!. I'm guessing it's not done since I can't see an interior and I can see through the bodywork to the other side? What spline cage plugin are you using? Meanwhile, an untextured WIP:
