I ordered a Chris King headset for the bike i'm building yesterday, should be here in the morning.

Also bought a small copper shim for the graphics chip on my laptop, it's been running a little hotter the last few weeks and I thought it was just clogged up with cat hair again but on dismantling it I found the fan and heat sink was fur free. I decided to remove the heatsink and found that the TIM had gone hard and flaky and was over 1mm thick between the heatsink and chip (looks like it was designed that way, is it really that hard to ensure they contact properly). Anyway the shim arrived this morning and now my laptop is running much cooler and quieter so i'm happy :)

Waiter: "Excuse me, would madame care for a drink?"

You: "She'll have what I'm having, sump oil on the rocks, neat."

    Waiter: "Certainly sir."

a nice thick slab of acrylic to finish off materials for my mod in progress.

Now if I could just figure out sleeving the wires, I'd be in business.

I nearly jizzed in my pants, this kit is seriously one of Lego's best! A real treat to put together, and the alternate version looks just as awesome imo!

And my highspeed assembly of it! :D

My latest purchase isn't a purchase - I've won something on a giveaway!

    1x Noctua NF-P14 FLX, 1x NF-S12B FLX, 1x NT-H1

Considering the price tags on them here in Croatia, this is huge!
Should be getting them in thursday :)

Not a purchase, but my marathon running neighbour just dropped over a crate of 500ml bottled water and two large bunches of bananas which he had left over from the 10k marathon at the weekend and wasn't going to use. Very decent of him :)

That's awesome :D. I impulse bought a big Lego model a few weeks ago - I used to be obsessed with the stuff as a kid, but I sold it all in my teens. I enjoyed building the set but then I realised that you get the most fun from having loads of parts to customise it and make your own, which sadly I don't have the time for any more :(. I think I'll probably just sell it sooner or later.

Also recently picked up a Seamaster Aqua Terra to replace my old Tissot. Really wanted to be able to justify the automatic version, but at double the price my wallet said no:

I think I might have to save up (for a long time!) for a either Rolex Milgauss or a Panerai Luminor next :eeek:

Four Kitchen Devils knives. My mom loves them. My dad loves knicking them and taking them down to the sea and using them as his tackle knife for his fishing, and then losing them. My mom wants to kill him :) Shipping was broad daylight but hey. The best bit will be that my mom refuses to use the last ones I got her (not this exact knife) because she doesn't want my dad to get hold of them LOL.

These new lego kits are awesome. When I was a kid, lego was regular blocks with a big green rectangle as a floor and maybe the odd lego person. If you were lucky you could just about build a bungalow....:p
