Coolermaster 120 x 120 x 25mm SickleFlow Red LED Case - just ordered some of these near as dam it 70CFM but only 19db
Considering my rig is next to me on the desk top, anything louder than my moaning about being bushwhacked is not desirable

A water chiller that I would need to dispense the amount of heat that my rig gives off, would cost £720:eeek:

    I forgot all about those.....Ummmmm 990x @ 6Ghz+:D

I'm not sure whether to keep the 360 rad just for the CPU and have the 1080 (3x360) just for the GPU's.

    What's your thoughts?

    Equipment I already have;

1x 1080 Rad (When it comes tomorrow)
    1x 360 Rad
    2x 240 Rad
3x Pumps (1 pump is built into the reservoir)
    3x Reservoir

    Cheers,

    Simon.

Your gonna need one, maybe two Big pumps, like the Liang D5 to shift water through that 1080 Rad.

I have just copied the sales speel from the specialtech web site
But it may just remove some of the heat out of your loop, enabling you to get better temps and higher clocks?

Award winning Watercooling Water Chillers from Hailea.
    New cool design
More robust materials for even longer lifespan
Lowered noise emissions, Quieter than a standard refrigerator!
    Suitable for continuous operation

This waterchiller basically replaces the radiator as the coolant is chilled to the desired temperature by this unit. Temperatures down to 4°C are possible, please note that at low temperatures (high temperature difference) condensate may accumulate. Suitable insulation accessories are also available in our shop. Alternatively the coolant temperature can be set to just below room temperature to avoid this problem. Thanks to the low temperatures incredible overclocking potential is available! This system is also great for no-noise applications as the chiller can be located in another room.
We recommend integration of the chiller into the cooling loop in combination with a radiator. This allows use of the chiller when required (overclocking, Benchmarks, summer etc..) and use of the radiator during normal operation.

To estimate the required cooling performance here some non-binding estimates. The exact thermal emissions can be requested from the manufacturer of the hardware.
CPU: 80W (standard) to 150W (overclocked)
GPU: 20W (small cards) to 150W (current models such as 8800)
MB: 10 to 20W per component

The added values of your system must not exceed the given cooling capability of the chiller.

So todays delivery day!! I look forward to seeing what this set up can do

If this was mine (eyes glaze over!) I would go for 1 loop for all the rads and 1 loop for all the blocks. As there are so many radiators, I dont think the heat from the GPU's will affect the CPU.

Anyway, please post some pics and results when you have this set up.

    It's all in the works.:thumb:

This is the chiller I will need. Waterchiller Hailea Ultra 2000 (HC1000=1650W cooling capacity) £720:eeek:
My rig when overclocked will produce 1200W+ of heat.

    Cheers,

    Simon.

As my order is now late and not due till tomorrow, I decided to change my waterloop in the process.

    My waterloops as followed;

    1, RES-PUMP-CPU-RAD240-RES
    2, RES-PUMP-MB CHIPSET-RAD240-RES
    3, RES-PUMP-RAD360-GPU'S-RES

    And a nice pic;

    And a benchmark,

    CPU @ 4Ghz HT enabled. Temps Idle 11-17*C - Max 38-45*C
    GPU 930-1860-2203Mhz. Temps Idle 25-26*C - Max 47-49*C

I will be back later with some higher CPU & GPU clock speeds.

    Cheers,

    Simon.

    WANT!!!

I modified my vbios for my GTX 580's to up the voltage limit..now set to 1.213v instead of 1.150v.
    Anyway that all went well.

My biggest problem now is my PSU is holding me back. 1200W should have been enough..I thought anyhow...I'm pulling about 1300-1350W from the wall:eeek:

Right, so I tired my GPU's @ 1GHz 1.213v. PC just hung (PSU saying no more!)

So now I dropped my CPU back to 4Ghz and tried again....No luck! So now I start to drop the clocks on the GPU's. In the end I managed 960-1920-2200. This work fine after a couple of loops of 3Dmark 11.
So now I tried clocking my CPU upto 5Ghz... Runs 3Dmark11...It hangs! Nooooo!

So it looks like I need a 1500W PSU to run My GPU'S @ 1000-2000-2200 and my CPU @ 5Ghz.

May I recommend the one I have (Thermaltake Toughpower 1500W). Fully modular and has been bloody brilliant - rare as rocking horse poo though.

I believe Antec do some 2KW+ PSUs, but that won't be needed. 1500W can power any rig.

That PSU should have no problem pulling 1300W, NickShih used one for some 580/980x benching, was pulling ~1700W ;)
