Why not go out for a walk ? Perhaps take a new hobby ?

Got a dog that needs walking ? Meets lots of women that way :)

Take up wind/kite surfing? Both CPH and Aarhus have excellent surfing clubs.
A couple of summers ago I was in the same situation. I bought rollerblades :)

    Chainmail!

This hauberk took up nearly 2 years of my spare time, I never even got around to putting sleeves on it :hehe: The material is great fun to play with. You would never expect it to be a "stretchy" material but due to how the links are arranged it conforms to the build of the person wearing it. So on a skinny person like me it is way long, but on a bulkier person it is really short.

Though it can get dull, TBH bigkingfun has the best idea. Kite sports are a blast, thats what my free time consists of now.

FYI I used up over 1/2 mile of aluminum wire making that.

I do have a right glove I made from copper, very small links and with silver the places where it had to be stronger, used about 3 000 rings for one glove.

I can imagine the time put into this, well done

Thank you, yes it does take some time (as you well know).
~3.5 lbs (I'm so glad I chose to work with aluminum).

Just thought of another thing to do in your spare time xMathiasD You could always take up volunteer work somewhere nearby. You get to meet some neat people and often that have quite the stories to tell. I have heard people recount some incredible moments in history (met an elderly man a year or two ago who told me about his time on the beaches of Normandy).

All of the suggestions are great ideas
Cycling is another option, something I'm trying to add to my daily schedule.
Reading is another good one, nothing quite like a good book
Pick up a musical instrument? Try a new sport?
The possibilities are pretty much endless.

If you have a bit of room at your house buy an old jalopy for say €200, strip it back to spare parts and try to reassemble it to working condition again (or as close as). Bit expensive, but you'll learn valuable skills and likely make your money back if you sell it all as spares.

Learn to cook - really. Its one of those things that you can use everyday and will till the day your dead. Nothings better than making a decent meal that you really enjoy eating - then doing it again and again.

Build model balsa airplanes. Very satisfying indeed.
