That's pretty cool. One day one might want a open and "airy" house, and the next one may want to just lock out the world.

When I become rich I now know where I want to live! :thumb:

You gotta wonder where they build these things to get the planning permission to do something so radical, beautiful and totally awesome. Most likely not in the UK :grr:

No if you live in the UK, then you can say goodbye to your brains cause they would never allow something cool like that.

I have spent most of my Govt DP career in buildings with thicker walls. I'd move in there anytime! Awesome abode.

That's all very well but in the event of a zombie apocalypse, the power would go out thereby rendering your transformahouse obselete as you wouldn't be able to operate the security systems :)

Unless of course the designers factored that in in which case I'll go and sit in the corner...

I love it, I actually think about this kind of stuff a bit too much!

Flat roof could host a whole bunch of solar panels? That would be my guess anyhow.

Would be my guess too. Backup generator in the cellar could work also. The roll gate seems to ne the weak point in the construction though.
But I would totally want live there anyway!

Hadn't thought of the solar panels TBH :)

I suppose the shutter gate could be hand operated in a pinch though and the roof could be a good lookout/sniper position for defensive purposes.

Hell, I'd live there and take my chances :)

high powered rifle and a huge surplus of interesting munitions.

Water and food would be the limiting factor, rain collection and some form of sky farm, would never have to leave.
