    Think I'll switch my GTX285 out for a 460 as that produces 11k roughly compared to 9k from the 285. I might try a bit of innovation later to get both running...

    I've managed to resurrect a 9800GX2 and added another GTX560, but the latter is running at over 90C so fingers crossed it'll survive and keep on producing points.
    One bigadv to complete in 6 hours, and one in 26 hours! The other bigadv machine keeps picking up A3 units, for no good reason that I can see. :waah:

    16:30 UK / 8:30AM PST Update:

    We've managed to hold onto 8th place, but our lead over T32monkeys is a mere 0.1 Chimps Points, while TSCh!mp still has a significant 0.7 point lead over us and growing.

    Indeed a great first day considering how slow we started :rock:

    I completely fluffed the changeover by using the wrong passkey :duh: but all was sorted by the morning of the challenge. The no pausing rule is there for a good reason but it was agonising watching 3 bigadvs land in the hours before kickoff.

    Eeek, I've picked up some harsh units (haven't looked to see which ones exactly) and my production has dropped from 120k to just under 90k... I think my high temperatures might be playing a role in that drop also seeing as higher temps mean less efficient processing. I'm going to have to get some more cooling sorted for everything over the weekend, I couldn't stand to work in 35 degree heat all of next week!

    i've just come back home from uni for the weekend leaving my two windows open (am on third floor of my building and the windows dont open much) and left my antec 1200 on its side on the floor with the side panel off.

    i then have a 12cm fan resting across my two 560's and a 30cm desk fan blowing over the cpu area towards my h50

    edit:
    fingers crossed i dont go back to a pc on sunday evening that has overheated and died! :worried:
