Me too, do you think it's worth just getting it from GOG for $5 or waiting till it goes on sale on Steam?

 

The Witcher was on sale on Steam not all that long ago, but will probably be offered again at some stage.

 

Terraria is now out, its bascially 2D minecraft.

I'm planning on waiting as I have a huge backlog of games to play and prefer my games on Steam. Will also give Witcher 2 time to drop in price.

That being said @ $5 it is a bargain.

Annother MwM, singularity for £6.80. Not a bad game but should be cheaper

 

Screw it, I caved and bought it on GOG. I'll probably get it on Steam aswell when it inevitably comes up for an irresistible price.

 

Hmm, on the fence about Singularity. I've just got around to completing Clive Barker's Clive Barker's Jericho (by Clive Barker)* and while it wasn't absolute crap, it was still very run of the mill.

I do like the look of the time effects though...

Its not a bad game, I enjoyed playing it on the xbox when I had it

 

Singularity is definitely worth that price.

 

Hey, is Worms Reloaded worth getting? Looks pretty good for the price but just wondering if anyone has played it.

Just started playing Singularity this morning - looking good so far.

 

It depends... It's good fun, and higher resolution/widescreen support is nice, and it's still as fun as ever to destroy things.

.....but rope physics have been 'tweaked' so the days of shopper on Armageddon are over, there are a few bugs, though fewer than Day 1, and multiplayer fails, because it's locked to Steam regions, and PC local teams are limited to 4 teams of 4 worms, not so good for party play.

At that price, it's worth buying, but if you're looking for a modern take on the franchise, I also suggest that people go take a look at the open source 'Hedgewars' as an alternative, or just dust off an old copy of W2, as they both have charm that this one doesn't.

 

I might've gotten Singularity, but it has the usual Euro markup once again.

 

Worms is 7.50 euros. Still not worth it IMHO. Anyone else buying it? You can pick up worms world party from amazon. Not sure if their network is still up and running for on line play?
