Okay well its up to me and my dad to flip 3 rooms My room will become his room, His room will become a food storage room and my new room will be put into out old computer work room which is about 30 feet by 20 feet with a 10 foot by 10 foot closet. I need to repaint and remove everything from all the rooms and finish a closet and repair 2 big holes in my wall from partying. New rugs and put a drop ceiling into my new room, along with building a counter top that is about 30 feet long, After that reroute internet cables wireless router and phone line and 2 cable lines down into my new room. After all that i need to set up my computers which are two towers a laptop 2 tvs one with digital cable and 900 channels, install holders for my soon to be artwork( buying 6 xbox 360 cases and a computer case) when all said and done we only have about 4 days.
A food storage room... a pantry? Aren't pantries generally underground at least partly? Aren't they usually designed to stay cold (the underground bit is part of this design)?
Depends on what is in it. My parents house when i was younger has one that was underground. Many other homes that I have seen have them next to the kitchen but are only used for things like canned goods. or paper towel.
start now, that way you have around 8 days! You can start routing lan, phone, audio, etc cables through the walls, finish the closet, and patch up those holes. This is probably around half of the tasks, and heaps of time to get all this done by thursday.
when i saw room flip, i was hoping for one of these projects... but alas, no. just talk of moving things around.
Me too. I'm now disappointed... As for your original question, sure it's possible. With enough manpower, money and Pizza delivery service everything is possible. Things needs to be planned. Start getting supplies and think through every job, like what do you need, and what jobs needs to be done before other jobs can be done? (Painting walls after you have put pictures on the wall is a bad idea, for example)
