Can you open the roof step by step with this schema or just "close or open" option?
    What is the lcd function?

Yes, I think this too... :thumb:
    Thanks! :)

Now, I can just put fins "close or open", but maybe I can add an 'step by step' mod, in the future. :)
And the LCD is a little screen,
    [IMG]
where I will post the temperature sensed by the probe.:)

    Yeah! Thanks! :D:D

New update of the work done this weekend: the HDD support.

Already I would like to announce my error, :(
When I have pick up all the coasts on a HDD, the fixation holes are 45mm x 95mm pitch,
but when I creating the HDD on SolidWorks, I have enter 45mm x 90mm.
So all were going well, perfect integration. Except that when I have trying before build, I realized the mistake.
And the screws came up against the rails HDD... :(
So I made an intermediate plate... :)

    Now I can start! :D

Here for the first picture, the aluminum 4mm plate that serves mounting rail: :)

To begin, I drilled mounting holes of the intermediate plate on the rail (3mm hole)

Then I drilled holes at spacings of hard drive so I can hang this one on the intermediate plate:
What I say may be a bit messy but you'll see a photo at the end with all the montage.

Then I sanded with sandpaper the plates so that they can slide perfectly into the rails.
    Here is the result:

Once done, I drilled the intermediate plate:)

With a jigsaw and the finish with a lime:

    Then drilling any mounting holes:

And I cut the four pieces with shears:

    After sanding:

And now here is the final montage:

    And in the case:
    :)

Then of course if I had not made the stupid mistake I could have done something more practical,
But I had to correct the problem...
    :)

I have receive the 2.8mm female connectors for the Power button, so I have mount and sheathed their wire. :)

    A connector crimped:

And I have test the button:

There he is with his ungainly cable:

And, after I sleeved it: :)
    That pretty so much! :)
It's not a MDPC-X sleeve kit! But it's just a professional sleeve who was in my house.
However it's good quality and nice! :D

Otherwise, I also installed the coolers on my Rheobus:

I have bought this sleeve in a french website: Conrad

The picture of the work made on Friday and Saturday:
    Program,
    • SSD fixation

    • Beginning assembly

    • CPU door

    • stick grids

I started doing a test the sticking of the grid,
So I started by putting the grid to the good size and I delineate the sticking area with tape:

The glue looks like joint. :)

After I weld the bottom plate to the chassis:

Once this is complete, I realized the fixations of the side doors,
    [IMG]

Here is the structure ready to receive the rings:

Once that is soldered, I soldered the back plate, and glued the power supply fixation plate.:

And I have pierced the doors at the locations of rings:

In the same way I pierced the other side door and make her brackets:

Then I drilled mounting holes for a SSD
At first I did not want integrate a SSD, I think it's overpriced,
but I told myself that a modern PC without SSD is not really a modern PC :D
So ultimately I think installing a 64GB SSD later.

After I set up the CPU door,
I started by gluing the hinges on the door:

Then I welded a pawn in order to catch it and then I stuck to the plate:

Then I soldered the plate of cable management in the bottom of the case:

And finally, I glued the remaining grids :)

    Normally I'll start painting today
(CD player Support, Rheobus support, hdd support, doors,...)
and look to install the servomotor. :D

Yes I am sorry for the late, but last week, I had to make the project folder, then I had two exams to integrate engineering schools. So I have not had time to update the forum. :(
It's nice of you to wait for updates:blush:

So here is the progress of the project:)
As I've said, I have started painting the case:

Then I glued the hard disk support always with the same adhesive:

The 4 rails in place on the support:

I then secured the support rails.
A small picture of a whole:

Then I was making some purchases in a local shop, to buy seventy 3mm and 4mm screws, pins for the HDD support and stop rings for the fins. :D
    [IMG]

Then I glued the motherboard fixation plate after having previously installed the spacers.

Here the plate kept for drying:

Next step, install the operating rod of the fins, and the servomotor, I started by drilling each fin:

    Then I realized the rod:)

Here are the pieces that constitute the operating shafts, ready to be welded:

    The rod finished:

Then I installed the rod on the fins, and began installing the servomotor, for information I had first thought to use a Futaba S3003 and then I finally opted for a S3150, which has metal gears, and is two times smaller. :)

Here is the installation of the servomotor:

Everything works perfectly, the servomotor has ample strength. For the program (basic language),for interested people, I can give it you ... :)
Yesterday I started to mount hardware in the case, so I post the pictures soon! :) :thumb:

Looks like a more rigid construction than Alienwares... Got one in for service, what a joke that was. Thin metal that was worn down after only a few weeks, so the fins jammed and made the small motor jump sprockets..

Nice build mate, will be following this

    Yeah! Thanks

I don't know anything about the operating principle of the alienware case but it's true that my Mod is very solid ... :)
And thank for your compliment! ;)

Merci, et oui effectivement j'ai un post sur HFR, que je tiens toujours à jour... ;)

Today, photos of the case monatge... :)

So I started by installing the rad provided by Arctic Cooling:

Below, pictures of the box before mounting:

First part of montage, the cache of the motherboard:)

Then I mounted the two 80mm fans at the rear with anti-vibration support from Aquatuning:

Then the two 140mm Fractal Design fans offered by Aquatuning:

Always mounted with anti-vibration support. :thumb:

    Switch of the CCFL:

    Then I mounted the configuration:
    For information, it's composed of:
    Asus P5QD Turbo
    Core2Duo E8400 @ 4GHz stable 24/24h
    MSI R5870
    Corsair 4GB DDR2

Next step, mounting of the Seasonic 760W X-Series power supply:

Then, screw for 120mm fans, support of hard drives and DVD drives:

Then I crimp pod for the neon switches, because the blue pods were horrible... :D
    [IMG]

    Installing the front control panel:

And to finish installation of the 140mm fans at the front:

For fun, the fury case with my Sonata III at his side:

So, I promised you put the videos tomorrow, I do it tonight and I put them online!

    Thanks! ;)

As expected here are the videos... :D

The first, opening of the fins, the test is performed with Unigine Heaven
Note that this is a bit long but I have to do tests on the best location of the probe.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e9oBDD1wpR4

The second video shows when the fins closes...

Tell me what do you think of this! :)

    Wow! Amazing!

Don't mean to burst your bubble but that sleeve is nowhere near the quality of mdpc-x sleeve. You could send it to Martin who does pro sleeving ;)

Awesome fangame :thumb: do the top fans only come on also when the fins open or do they keep spinning even when the fins are closed?.

Yes it's sure but it's not me who sleeved the ATX 24pin extension...
It's a Phobya sleeved extension offer by Aquatuning:
    Link to the product

But I agree that on your link, the products are beautiful, but I think when you have a pc configuration like mine, it is better to put his money in hardware... ;)

When the temperature increases, at 32°C, the fins open, and at 35°C the fan switches on.
When the temperature decreases, at 34°C the fan switches off, and at 27°C the fins closed.

The temperature sensor is glued to the graphics card heatsink with thermal adhesive paste.
    ;)
