All the tractor boys can talk here. Think of it as our club, you 5 (or however many of us there are here >.< ) This should be good!
I used to spend time in Ipswich annually, not now, have family there. Miss the town centre and it's layout, something different. Random? Yes I am.
I spent my childhood in Ipswich until my parents got divorced but still make sure I go back at least once a month to go see ITFC and Ipswich Witches.
On a serious note, Birmingham was one of the only universities I looked around but I was actually really impressed, the campus there is great and it certainly is a big change from the middle of nowhere. I've lived my whole life in South Bucks which is a bit of both so I've never really experinced living in the city or the countryside (well, sans three weeks in Dufftown which is pretty isolated). Also, it seems I worded my joke poorly, I was implying that the general Somerset public were glad to be rid of you rather than everyone hates living in Somerset.
I am stupid. It makes sense re-reading it! My parents are probably glad to be rid of me So where are you headed to Uni? I seem to recall you mentioning taking your A levels this year, or did I imagine that? Also, track'errs Cheesecake.
Yeah, on study leave now. Hopefully going to Cambridge although I have Durham as my insurance. Birmingham was one of my choices but their offer effectively wasn't much lower than Durham or Bath since I'd done modules in January and they way the it all works out means it'd take some pretty exceptional cirumstances to miss my Durham offer but still meet the Birmingham one.
Gotta love study leave. Nice choice, my brother is just graduating from Oxford and had Durham as his insurance too. I actually chose my lowest two offers, as I wasn't feeling too confident at choice time. Retook a lot of exams in the last exam season and beat my offer to get into Birmingham, very chuffed. Makes sense to choose the highest offers you can reach! Best of luck with exams
