Got bored. Drove to Toys R Us. Came home with a Nerf Maverick.

I have done the penny mod so far and will probably do the barrel one tomorrow if I get time.

:jawdrop: They look superb [the heat shrink looks a bit cheap tho, in comparison] , clever adjustment method, no budging those while they are on.

*ponders the possibility of laminating his DT100s*

It's a dark tunnel you're embarking on here... I bought a maverick at Christmas. I now own every nerf branded gun available.

Thanks DP, the difference is a slightly higher res screen, 320x480 instead of 240x320, slightly more juice for the cpu, 600mhz instead of 530 odd, 512ram instead of 384 and a few grams lighter. Not much really. I just figured, for a difference of £35 odd pounds, i'll get the later model.

I'm coming from a Nokia 5250 which is actually not a bad phone for what it is. For some reason though, it constantly requests to connect to the internet via 3g/gprs. I've had to remove the list of connections from the phone to stop it doing it. A shame really as it had built in GPS that you could use in the car to give you directions etc. Does the HTC have something like that? I assume not, and that it just has google maps? My sisters phone, a sony ericsson w100 was having random start up/shutdown/resets etc, so I gave her my Nokia and will be sending the W100 to get service once the HTC arrives. I don't really use a phone much, but felt like owning something a bit nicer. Gave me an excuse to upgrade so.

I actually find the Google Navigation app works rather well. However, my HTC also came with an app called 'Locations'. It can be used for GPS navigation, and the maps for it are stored on the phone/memory card so you can turn internet off while using it if you like, although you seem to need an internet connection for the initial destination setting and route calculating.

Yep, that's much tidier. Are they some kind of mini XLR? Pretty substantial connection!
