This ^. In the past i really liked Biel-Tan, i think the white and green worked really well but these days i try to go for originality as much as possible. How about running with the bit-tech colours and creating an Eldar-esque glyph using the letters of 'bit-tech'
My favorite Eldar colour schemes have always been the bright flashy ones, the reds, the greens and the rich purples. I should really take some photos of some of the Kroot I have finished.
I really want to paint up some of the Eldar finecast stuff, but I cannot buy anything not for an army until my existing stuff is completed. Speaking of, I bought a Cadian battleforce today and another Stormlord (sealed) off the GW manager at what he paid >.>
I need to finish what i have- which is alot to do. Need to revive a few paints see if i can save them otherwise will have to replace a few.
I've decided I'm going to flog most of my space marine stuff on ebay soon. Well the stuff that was well made, I am going to strip it all of paint first, cos my utter craptacular painting wen i was a kid will decrease the value way more than stripped models i will keep the dreadnaught, but i will strip it and maybe in future I will practice rust and other vehicular war effects on it
I'll be picking up some sword brethren tomorrow night - Last things I need for my 3k BT list The space is for something for very special.. Edit: Tonight's efforts:
Been bored and decided to have a go at using shampoo bottles and expanding spray foam as modelling materials, have a look see what you think: http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/373075.page
I'd still love to see scale models of Apoclaypse and Lunar class Battleships... Christ even a battle-barge would be awesome
How about getting your testicles set fire too while dipping them lightly in gasoline? Xeno Traitor...
Its looking good, i need to put together my fine cast dark reapers and get my painting under way- had to revie most of my paints, only replaced a few.
Thanks man. I adore the finecast stuff - I just need to come up with a better way of transporting the ones with polearms - They bend quite easily. Still one or two things to do, but that's about as done as it's going to get.
Just a couple of bits of wire (stripped of the shielding and twisted) then baal red with some PVA. It's dried a fair bit darker than that, which is nice, but I need to do something to stop the nickel wire showing through. In hindsight, I should have used copper as that'd be easier to hide, but hey.
