Thanks, this project entered a phase were I needed to rethink a pretty large portion of what I had done so far. I am changing some of the cad drawings at the moment and having some issues of how Im going to solve some parts. While Im doing this I had to have something else to build so I started the GET A LIFE project. But don't worry, I will continue with this one in a near future.

Thanks a lot. Well I actualy hope it wont bee the same after the rethink since the plan is to make it better than before. Atleast that's what Im aiming for. I'm trying to minimize the parts and to make fewer visible "seams" on the backplate, giving it a much more cleaner look.

Wow, thanks. Unfortunately that update will probably wait for a while since Im going to finish the
GAF project first, and then the Green gadget project Will have to be top priority.

Easy now cheaps, im getting there ... and yes, a plastic version would have been nice ;P



Small status update: Since I won the nice little Pico-itx from green gadget, I will start a build as prommised with that board right after the GET A LIFE is done. Therefore ProtoHype will have to stay in its paused/rethinking state for now. However I have spent far to much time on this project to simply let it dissapear, so I will finish it I promisse, but it's not Prio#1 at the moment.

 

Oh, yeah... I forgot about the pico. I did kinda push for you to get it too. You'd think I'd remember that.
-It can't be helped. There's only one of you. I'm suffering with the same problem: Too much project- not enough cheapskate.

 

Ohh man I really love this topic, and your project... You will find a solution for the problems soon, I'm sure.

I havn't been so active on these forums lately. ProtoHype is still one hold unfortunately and I think it will stay like that for quite some time.

I've just been busy doing a lot of other random stuff. Some of which are PC related and some not so PC related. However I'm not ready to show that PC stuff yet because there might be plans to take it one step further.
