I'm not sure, as I nasically have everything else I need, just waiting for my pump top, so it's annoying to loose so much time just waiting for it to arrive, as I only have a month to do everything...
ah well i think i'm gonna get it the day it comes out from specialtech, so if you don't get it when it comes out i shall let you know what its like just watching ttl's review again and it just makes me want it more and more and to get all my watercooling bits in it already!
Guys here is a problem that one of my friends has, he has just setup a WC loop but as you can see from the below pictures it looks like there isn't enough flow in the block, so what can be the reason for this ? This is an EK LTX block. thanks
If you zoom in on the first picture you can see a lot of grit or brown sand like bits through the plexi. Did he flush the rad thoroughly before it was assembled?
I'm struggling to see the the grit but could it be bubbles? The way that the water feeds into the top of the res would be producing a lot of aeration and bubbles which might be taking a long time to bleed.
If you enlarge the image and look to the left and right of the fins on the cpu block can you see the brown and grey particles? It could also be bubbles considering it's an action shot afterall. If the machine is shut down do those "bits" remain?
When I say I'm struggling to see the grit I mean it literally. If I enlarge the image all I see is a blur. My eyesight is failing so I can't see close up detail. The feed into the res does look as though it's creating a lot of bubbles in the video.
