Motors Seen anything cool on the road lately?

We live in Holland so we went and bought in in Germany, then it spent the summers over here.

We had one on the BMW V8's.. Crikey it shifted. I think the MX5 is more fun to be a passenger in. Im 6'4 and I didn't really fit in it.

 

Met a black Lotus exige earlier today.

One of the very few cars that looks way better in white than in black. (Unless it's flat black )

 

Really? MX-5's are nice to drive, but I much prefer driving an old rwd celica, and they get many more heads turning as well... a V8 Wiesmann however.... that thing would turn heads like crazy!

Are you talking about a turbo MX5 or something?

 

I mean in terms of 1000 mile distances as a passenger.

It wasn't the most anthropomorphically designed passenger compartment ever.

The MX-5 isn't a turbo, but its been stroked and heavily tuned.

 

Goodwood Festival of Speed is going on this weekend 2 miles away, I've seen the local Aston Martin DBS, A DB9 drove past me on my way home this evening, and a black Ford GT40 drove past me yesterday. Although, i currently hate my mum, as she's seen 2 Bugatti Veyons.

I saw one of these the other week and I can't decide if I like them or not. The traditional two seater British sports car thing does not really float my boat but the morgan does have some character about it.

On the subject of ugly cars I am completely baffled by the apparent popularity of the Nissan Juke. I am seeing the wretched things everywhere and it's one of the ugliest cars of recent times imo.

 

I've been wondering if there really are many of those darn things running around, or if it's just so offensively ugly that I spot each and every of them within the radius of two kilometers.. Either way, I just don't like it very much.

That car would look soooo much better if the headlights were centered with each fender.
The wheels are a bit casual too, they'd better suit a more modern car imo. I think some polished multi spoked wheels would go well, and they'd match the front grill too.

 

Saw this when I came out of the gym the other day and though it was pretty cool myself

 

Saw a car-transport semi today with a BMW E60-something, a Mercedes C, something and a Tesla Roadster.

The Tesla doesn't really look all that good in bright red TBH.

 

The Tesla just isn't a great looking car, it looks awkward in most colors.

A multitude of motorbikes going up and down Cheddar Gorge (my favourite road to ride), a tonne of actual decent modified cars (such as Skylines, 350Zs and an open top M3), several tonnes of craptastic modified motors with rubbish sounding exhausts to boot and a stock Daewoo Matiz with the worst sounding exhaust I've ever heard. He even decided it'd be cool to rev his engine as I blasted by, he honestly thought he could outrun me.

 

Saw one of those new Beckham Range Rovers on the M1 this afternoon, don't like it at all!

 

Went on a Z car cruise with Wisconsin and Illinois clubs, even had a GTR join us
