A/V £50 headset for a friend?

As above...he aparently does not have space for a desktop mic.. :/

I have one of these the sound quality and bass is amazing for the price, also when your not using the mic it folds away to nothing it looks like it's not there

 

Sennheiser HD555 if you can find them for that price. Internet is flooded with great reviews for them

I'm still using Sennheiser PC161's. Think I paid around £45 for them. No fancy bits of flashy paint colours, just good quality audio.

Not sure about the HD555 suggestion. IIRC they dont have a mic.

 

Great for a budget headset .... Shure their are better ones but there like in the $300~400 range

 

Corsair HS1- the USB version. Or, to save money, get the HS1A.

 

I have recently brought the corsair HS1A linked with a x-fi titanium and no regrets, but if you have no decent sound card then get the USB version HS1 as mentioned above..

Really?? I bought a pair of those a while back and refused to use them - never heard anything so crap in my life. Sounded like two mice attempting to mate in my ear.

After those I got a pair of Roccat Kave's - a little more than £50 (or at least they were), but well worth the money. Brilliant sound quality, true 5.1 and very comfortable. Well made too

i dont think they are that bad, i have some sennheiser 205's and there aint much between them
