Been a absolutely shitty month, both personally and at work, so treated myself to a shiny new Macbook Air 11".

The part number on my order gave me a good laugh though -

    1. The fact that I preordered guaranteed me a waterproof headphone fitting. You unscrew the seal screw, screw in the headphone adapter (and screw the seal screw into the attached holder while you're using the adapter).
    2. It doesn't like my non-OEM shorty cable, but my genuine Apple ones work just fine.
    3. LifeProof's online store. Beware customs charges; mine came to £16 including an £8 processing fee :wallbash:

It works well, though I'm not a fan of the screencover which is a flexible film (not adhered to the actual screen or anything). It doesn't impede use, but it gets oily pretty quickly and makes reflections all house-of-mirrors.

The CX-300s are nice, but they are horribly fragile. Horribly fragile.

Just pre-ordered From Dust at Green Man Gaming.
I was sort of hoping to buy it on Steam but couldn't resist grabbing it when I saw it available on GMG... can't wait for the game to unlock on the 27th.

Bought some books (Joseph Heller - Catch 22, James Patterson - Cross Fire, Mark Billingham - From The Dead) as well as this lot (although one of the cameras is a gift for someone else)...

For those that don't know the two cameras are from Lomography.com

I know it's something normally associated with ****ing hipsters or people who want to take crap shots and pass them off as 'art' but I really like some of the cameras.

The black one is a Spinner 360 and it takes a full 360 degree photo using around 4 35mm frames. I'm really looking forward to trying it out.

    Spinner 360 microsite

The green one is a new Lomo camera called a La Sardina. It's supposed to look like a sardine tin and has a 22mm wide angle lens and the ability to do multiple exposures. This is the one I got for the girlfriend.

The scanner is to save me money when processing as I can do it all at home and the scanning mask allows scanning of sprocket holes which the standard Epson mask doesn't.
