Tried watching Scream 4 last night ... I just couldn't finish it - the boredom was horrible! At one point I considered starting to pluck out all my body hair with tweezers just to keep my mind occupied.

    Away we go (6/10)
a question of taste really, might as well have given a 8/10.
To me it was a bit slow, but the pace fit the film. Takes a little while to get started though.
It's funny, but not a thighslapper, more of a smiler.
Has some really weird, overtuned characters in it....and that's it really, no story, just characters.

    Good Luck Chuck 5/10
they just try too hard...and ruin it that way.
Lots of boobies though...and more than a few cringeworthy moments

never seen it but I remember once I was at some electronic store in the early 2000 and blues brothers 2000 was playing on a TV. It was the scene when cars pile up on each other and I thought it was freaking endless until I realized the scene was running in loop :hehe:

The Devil's Double - Dominic Cooper plays Uday Saddam Hussein and his body double Latif Hayia. Excellent movie, some bad accents and a few instances of dodgy acting, but all in all, worth the time and money.

    8/10

I don't know what you are referring to since they never made another Blues Brothers

    :grr::grr::grr::grr::grr:

One lazy Saturday, please watch the original. It requires no rush, it's a slow brewer.

I've been catching up on new films and reminiscing with older ones, and I rated the ones that I feel deserve a rating

    Desperado
2 hours of virtually meaningless violence and gore and Salma Hayek, every man's dream :D

    Shaolin 9/10
    Very engaging movie

    Gran Torino 9/10
Brilliant, a drama for thinking people

    Disturbia 7/10
I loved it - not original, but very enjoyable

    Machete
Loved this too, but it's a very silly movie - I'm a huge Danny Trejo fan

    She's out of My League
Not usually a fan of comedy but this is funny

    Insidious 9/10
SCARY AS FOOK, a surprisingly clever horror

    Legion
Another very silly film but enjoyable

Between all of that and Salma Hayek, I'd refer to Salma Hayek as "every Man's dream". :D

Between "From Dusk Till Dawn" and "Bandida's" lie 10 years...but she hasn't aged. :blah:
    Is the zombie-apokalypse approaching? Maybe she's a vampire? Or a Highlander? :p

He added "and salma hayek", which shifts the implication of the sentence around a bit.

    Back on topic:
    Total Recall
    ROFL/10
some of Arnie's best quotes come from this movie, and the movie is not COMPLETE tosh. Worth a laugh.

We've had it on in the background at work. Probably not suitable but whatever. Haven't seen it in years. It's worth watching again for a few laughs.
