Going to eb buying some booze this afternoon, as well as some toiletries.

yup.
Most of the rental places in this country have prepaid 'leccy.
Means you go to a vendor (who signed a contract with the municipality and has a markup running on the juice), and buy X amoutn of power. If the units run out, you're outta juice.

The reason for them doing that is that our law dictates it's the OWNER's duty to pay municipal bills. Since getting rent out of people can be a royal pain in the rear, owners would rather not risk sitting with huge electricity bills and install prepaid systems.

We get the same for water nowadays, but it's less prevalent, due to the expensive installation.

Well on Wednesday I bought a Kindle V3 3G and today i bought another kindle only with Wifi since the other half loves mine so much.

Side note, in the 5 weeks of owning my Saab 900 Turbo my petrol bill has come to £602!

We have a retail park very close to home, the deal is to get a store there you have to at least offer 30% off the normal retail price. The DVD shop is full of 3 for £5 and 3 for £10 (more recent films).
