    BandForce sounds quiet x factor. tonite bandforce and que sob story..... when i was growing i could only place three blind mice on the recorder now i ve grown into slade the guitar legend thanks to Guitar Hero 6!!!

    Oh they hide that very well indeed. In fact I haven't found a way to yet, only to opt out when they contact you as hidden here;

    Competitions like this are not direct marketing. That refers to mailshots, etc.

    Your phone number and email address are mandatory so we can contact you if you win. Hmmm.
    I've nothing against marketing, direct or otherwise, but these competitions have very stinky privacy policies in my opinion.

    As an aside, companies should differentiate between illustrating their opt-OUT policy (for telephone and physical mail marketing) and their opt-IN policy (for email marketing). This is a requirement of the DPA.
