    Hey, has anyone noticed that Duke Nukem Forever takes forever to load? This happend on my system and all I did was delete the AMD Dual Core Optimizer the game automatically installs and now the loading times are a lot faster.
    Just thought I'd let you guys know in case if anyone else was having this same problem. I also posted a new thread about it so more people can know.

    Just played the demo, it's on Steam.

    I thought it was pretty awful, the graphics are really rubbish.

    I can't even imagine wanting this if it was a few quid in a sale, nevermind the £29.99 that Steam seem to think it's worth.

    Big update for DNF on steam this week (500mb+)

    Including:

    - 4-weapon inventory option in single player campaign
    - MP Server favorites
    - Dedicated server overhaul
    - FOV can be modified
    - Change VOIP to push-to-talk (bandwidth fix)
    - VAC anti-cheat system enabled
    - Support for Japanese Steam ID’s for PC release in Japan
    - Auto-aim fix
    - Blood effects on surfaces behind enemies when shot
    - Steam.exe no longer uses an unusually high amount of CPU
    - Texture quality improvements
    - Fixes to prevent single player and multiplayer save data corruption
    - Leaderboard exploit fixed
    - AMD Dual-Core Optimizer no longer automatically installed (fixes rare bugs with Intel processors)
    - Crash/compatibility fixes and other minor bugs

    I haven't played it since I end it... Tried the MP but I was always crashing, I'll give it another run after this update.

    I remember a few years back I performed surgery on myself. On my left big-toe to be exact, ingrown toenail etc. The smell and general disgust was more appealing than this game.

    Nah - just a healthy dose of sarcasm for a Thursday morning! DNF is marmite - I love it as it was exactly what I thought it was going to be.

    By the way I bet the Northern Lights go dim when you switch your rigs on!

    Found the MP to be quite fun, nothing like shrinking your mate down and stomping him into the ground :p

    There's a free demo, but if you think Duke Nukem Forever looks good, you either need glasses or heighten your standards, because their way too low. XD
