No audio and the glare is insane, but here is some Jet gameplay footage from a cam...

He ended that video the way all my jet adventures used to end in BF2. Trying to kill someone, failing to kill someone, hitting a tree at high speed, exploding in the harsh flames of failure.

Something for me to look forward to.

My 8800GT died during the first few weeks of the BC2 release but it was OC replaced with a 5870 :cooldude:

I want to fly jets, so bad......

Is flying with a keyboard and mouse any good? or is a joystick better?

I know it's just me but I'm not excited for the aircraft combat. I play sims like DCS: A-10C, and I love it because all the aircraft systems are so detailed and realistic. Of course, I'm sure people like me are a tiny portion of the community that plays Battlefield and nobody else wants the aircraft as confusing as DCS. Other than the aircraft, looks like a great game:thumb:

I noticed that the LOD seems to be a bit duff, especially during the strafing runs. Makes me wonder if it can be adjusted AND also makes me wonder if it can be adjusted manually so that the foliage LOD detail can be turned down but the model detail (Character/vehicle) can be turned up?

Not for me personally, I hate cheaters, but it's something that would certainly need to be locked off save people using it as an unfair advantage.

I've always flown Battlefield games with a keyboard & mouse. For me I find it very easy now considering when I used to play Desert Combat on BF1942, the choppers & planes were very hard to control back then. So anything now is a walk in the park!

Ah, well CF will only ever use 1 cards RAM, so still 1GB but it should be more than enough! You could pick up a new one not long ago for £100 or so, so I'm not sure why they are going for that price! Its all good anyway matey, another 2 months yet!

Not sure if it's been said already, but I believe Origin won't be the obnoxious in-your-face DRM software that many naysayers have assumed.

I had to use Origin to download a new copy of BC2 a couple of days ago (long story). However once the game is installed you never have to use Origin again. Now I just launch the game straight off the Start menu shortcut as I did with the retail disc version.

Am I the only person having trouble with origin? I recently downloaded it and create a account, but when I try to log in it says "The Origin network could be reached."
