    There are other pre-orders in the chart. Is it because this is a daily chart and the Deus Ex TF2 item promotion ended yesterday?

    Deus Ex is taking the stealth option and coming in through the sewer and up through the air conditioning. To be seen on the chart would be weak.

    Most people who were interested have already pre-ordered it long ago. Might see another small bump in sales once its released but whatever, these lists mean **** anyways.

    While that's probably true for the all platform, the Steam sales are pretty relevant. It's a good measure of which games are hot items for PC gamers because, unlike the all platform, it's guaranteed to be sales by PC gamers. Just be aware of the inherent limitations (not all games are on Steam, and discounts may push up sales) and it's a nifty tool.

    If Deus Ex doesn't show up on the list then there's a fairly cut and dry reason: It didn't sell as many copies as the titles on the list.

    Since Deus Ex isn't even listed, when practically everybody thinks it should be, then this "List" is apparently a load of crap. Besides that, there isn't a single game on this list that I would waste even downloading for free with a video card or some other component, much less actually pay for outright.
    The only way that this list could be perceived as relevant is if you're one of the many lemmings thinking how cool you may be if you buy into this sort of hype and waste your (or, most likely, your parents) money on one of them.
    On the other hand, the list of platform games epitomizes what I think of any "serious" platform gamer. Shallow, tacky, stupid and a complete waste of existence.
