    looks nice, but i yhink theres something wrong with the jpeg compression, heavy jagging and blur ?

    I've been looking at getting back into modelling ... or ... more product design than modelling. And, by product design, I mean designing a case for myself.

    At college, I used to use Pro/Desktop in the D&T department for modelling, though it seems to have been discontinued. Does anyone know of any modelling software similar to Pro/Desktop? SolidWorks looks pretty close.

    I've still got AutoDesk 2010 from my failed attempt at studying civil engineering at university, though I haven't loaded that up since I left and I think you've got to auth it on the university network every 90 days to keep it active, so I might have to bin that ...

    thanks guys! just generating some content for my website.. would go much faster if this company would stop messing me around with a refund for a quadcore phenom they cant supply..paid for it last wednesday, told on monday they cant supply it now, stil waiting on refund :(

    4 mins render time on a cruddy quardo 600.

    just used the bitmap texture for displacement in 3ds with a few adjustments.

    Noisy cause i was too lazy to let it render for more than a few seconds on my rig.
