lol. I just had the most edge of my seat battle I've ever had in WoT.

A20 v Ferdi....

Me in an A20 with its durp gun that take forever to reload trying desperately to avoid getting infront of the Ferdi. Unfortunately I couldn't even scratch the Ferdi even with HE rounds. He eventually got the better of me by backing into a corner but I managed to avoid getting killed for a good minute or two.

 

It might be worth a moderator putting the channel info etc into the first post on this thread?

 

By the way, in terms of availability, I'll be around most evenings next week with the exception of Monday.

 

I'm up for it. Any time next week when people can get on is fine for me. After that most evenings from 1900 onwards works.

It might be a good thing to do a few non-battle training sessions too, if possible. The number of times I got massacred without knowing why or how when I started playing almost made be quit on a few occasions. Arty bottleknecks and common TD shooting galleries on certain maps (Abbey for example) might be nice for some newer players to see.

Just entered the world of....World of tanks! Any advice on how get started. Currently I have just been upgrading my Russian light tank. Need to sit down and read how it all works to be honest.

Any tips to get going? Best to invest any money in the game or can you go places without doing so?

I put a fiver in, just for support and all that, plus the Gold which really supported me throughout the start of the game ^.^

I would suggest buying 5500 gold, and then get a month of premium. It will be a huge help in the start, and maybe use 100/250 gold and convert those to credits. That will give you a massive start boost.

 

will_123, fire up the game, search in channels for "bit-gamer" and join in. I'm still a newbie and have so much to learn but these folks are top notch for tips. I played for about 10 days or so before I went premium, just to decide whether or not I liked it. I'd recommend doing the same as once you're out of a Loltractor it's a totally different game.

 

Would anyone mind telling me the *actual* rate of fire for a fully upgraded Tiger 2 please? I know its 5.45-7.5 for the gun, but I need the actual value please .
