Size is generaly really smaller than with SU. Low poly + meshsmooth helps a lot :thumb:

I exported to .3ds and imported it in SU And modified it slightly to reduce to polycount a bit.

Razer, I'm not at home ATM but I'll tell you when I get home, but I don't think it's very large.

How is V-Ray 2.0? Is it any faster then 1.5? And maybe you can tell how V-Ray RT works with the GPU?

Its quite faster then 1.5, but not extremely. And for vray rt, I never use it, there are alot of unsupported features and it the quality is inferior than the normal vray. But for simple scenes it works well, when you don't use complex materials.

i think there's a wrong link or wrong file for an item on the site, the "Koolance CPU-360" by subtec.
when i opened it i got the "Koolance CHC-122".

just thought i should point it out :)

    Thanks.

I've found the original submissions and it appears that subtec sent the same link for the skp.

I've emailed a request for the correct file.

It seems the files are not compatible with Solidworks.
Is there any way to convert them?

Get sketchup PRO .....export Sketch up file as DWG..... then import into Solidworks.
It works but it creates a million triangle so be aware these files require a LOT of computing power.

Or work in SU6 when .skp-.dfx was included in the free package. Or try and find someone with the plugin which does the same thing (googe released it for about a month, a month after everyone went ape that file transfer support had been nerffed)

I've made a 100% exact model of the ATX, µATX and mini iTX specification including the according cutouts needed for the motherboardtray.
All the parts in the model are arranged and aligned properly to be a startingpoint for modeling a scratchbuild.
No thickness is added to the motherboardtray and the holes are just drawn onto the surface but not cutout so you can start a scratchbuild by just adding thickness of your chosen material, removing unneeded holes etc, etc...

    It's a tiny file of 733kb and zipped only 124kb -> http://sharesend.com/vnn25

The measurements were taken from reliable sources and are 100% exact that way. For the general ATX specifications I used http://www.formfactors.org/developer\specs\atx2_2.pdf which is known for a while, but unfortunately doesn't come with the PCI-cutouts. So in addition I worked with this source -> http://www.protocase.com/pdf/How_to_design_enclosures_for_motherboard_based_systems_092010.pdf.
