The backplates on the hotswap bays in my Corsair 800D were faulty and Corsair immediately replaced the backplates with a single SATA 3.0 Backplate without any questions being asked. They gave me the best customer support I have ever experienced.

Aye, I've always found Corsair's RMA service to be flawless - always been quick to replace faulty products, and without being difficult about it.

    That's what I'm thinking...
Is this another heat or just a reminder about one comp?

some of these questions are useless, how are voters expected to have experience with all those companies in order to have a knowledge based answer. Unless of course you just want them to vote for whatever they bought.

That is the only way to do these surveys, you seem surprised though. Did you really expect it to be done differently?

no. it's not. How about "rate companies: score 1-5 or tick never tried" then accumulate results in a meaningful manner

in it's present form, a lot of the survey is just testing who has most effective marketing.

You don't have to have purchased a product to have an opinion on it. The survey is asking for opinions.

eg. Who is your motherboard manufacturer of the year?

It then lists all/most mobo manufacturers as well as an 'other' option just in case one was missed. If you have not purchased a mobo or don't want to answer then there is nothing stopping you from not selecting any option and moving on the next question. You dont have to select an answer.

    *fingers crossed for hardware*

Still, I'm pretty sure Scan will get this RMA award and Retailer. Never seen better service.

    From the article:

"You may have already entered this competition, in which case thanks and good luck.."

I fail to see how people are confused about this reminder to enter the survey. Unless, of course, they're not actually reading what we write and are just skipping to the comments thread...

Please, we try to be as explicit and comprehensive as possible with everything we write - read the article before posting questions or complaints.

Make it bold then! As it stands you have to read 2 paragraphs just to clear up the confusion, and it is easy to miss when skim reading.
