    I think bukkit is bugged, its a prerelease version of it.

    Most bukkit 'betas' are fine, but this is a major minecraft release so yeah, its crap.

    Why not rollback to a 1.7.3 version of the server, and just stay on that until 1.8 Bukkit is sorted out? It would mean that we could actually DO something in those long, lonely nights at the PC...

    A couple of days away from the server isn't going to kill anyone. And why not play some single player for a bit instead?

    Well I haven't been playing MC for a while now, and you know what it's like when you have the sudden urge to play a game but it is unavailable for some reason - the craving increases. This is where I am at. And as to it killing anyone, you would be surprised :D

    There is still a creative server however most of us I think are playing on the survival server - thats certainly the server we are discussing at the moment!

    I'm looking forward to starting fresh on a new 1.8 map personally my buildings were beginning to get a bit stale.

    I have been playing sp, and although I have found plenty of mines, I am yet to find any building at all :(

    Nope, that didn't work - still just gives the same what appears to be a windows error beep and nothing happens
